Asset Acquisition Process Overview

Imagery should only be sent after the item is requested via VAA's Asset Request. We ask that you please refrain from sending images until a request has been sent so we can ensure the item is complete and ready to be enriched. Once set up is complete and items reach our queue, VAA will begin sending an Assets Request that will include:

1.     Image request sheet listing style information for imagery needed

2.     Upload link to drop imagery into

1. Confirm Which Images Are Needed

Before uploading any assets, it is important to review which items VA is requesting. The ""Image Request" Excel File contains information on all styles needed. If you need further help on where/how to access this file, please see the Breakdown of the Image Request File.

***Any video submissions for styles included in request should be uploaded through the same process

2. Click the "Image Upload" Link

With the Assets Request email open, navigate to and click the  Image Upload link to open Nordstrom's secure upload in your web browser.

3. Upload Files with the Upload Button

There are two separate options for uploading. Toward the upper left corner of the page, click "Upload." Sharepoint will ask if you want to upload by File or by Folder. Uploading by File allows each individual image file to be chosen, shown below:

4. ...Or Upload through Drag and Drop

To upload through drag and drop, simply click and drag files into the empty white space anywhere below the Upload button. You can drag both individual files or entire folders to begin the upload:

5. Confirm Upload Completion

Please notify the Vendor Assets team once all imagery is uploaded. Upon confirmation, Vendor Assets will review the images and follow-up with any pending questions. Any additional images needed should be uploaded through the same link.
